About me
I have been training and working in the film and television industry for almost four years after graduating from THE LONDON FILM SCHOOL's MA Screenwriting course in 2015.The final script I produced on the MA course ('Queenside') later went on to reach the final ten shortlist of the 2019 SCREENCRAFT SCREENWRITING FELLOWSHIP in Los Angeles, the finalist round on the 2019 WESCREENPLAY TV PILOT Competition, and won the 'Best TV Show Idea' at SCRIPT PIPELINE's 2016 Competition.
My experience in Production and Development dates back to 2016, when I was selected for a nine-month training scheme at AMBER ENTERTAINMENT, working under BAFTA-nominated producer Ileen Maisel (Ripley's Game, The Golden Compass, Romeo & Juliet) in her Development team. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to train as a Production intern at companies such as THE BUREAU (Daphne, 45 Years, A Little Chaos) and WILDGAZE FILMS (Brooklyn, Their Finest, Our Souls At Night).
In 2017 I was hired by CASAROTTO & RAMSAY ASSOCIATES to temporarily replace one of their receptionists at the front desk. My skills in reception, personal assistance and other office-based duties, were also enhanced by the following month-long internship at the prestigious 42 MANAGEMENT & PRODUCTION.
From June 2018 to the end of November 2019, I worked as Runner-Receptionist at one of the UK's leading post-production facilities, MOLINARE. On a daily basis I was required to handle petty cash, draft expenses sheets on Excel, file and scan confidential documents, keep track of deliveries, receipts and bookings, manage the online and offline schedules, answer and redirect incoming calls, and interact with some of the top talent working in the industry today.
During my time at Molinare, we worked with a number of incredible artists on projects such as Good Omens, Doctor Who, Killing Eve, The Crown, The Bodyguard, Mission: Impossible Fallout, A Discovery Of Witches and The Last Kingdom.
As a result of this, I have acquired key skills when it comes to computer and social media knowledge, office administration, and working within a client-facing team; as well as a broad knowledge of the post-production process on high-end film and television content.
