About me
I am a qualified solicitor who is making the transition into film and television development.Having graduated from both the London Film School (MA Screenwriting) and National Film and Television School (Script Development) and achieved high distinction marks, I am currently pursuing my passion for story on several fronts.
- As a script editor I am working on short film and feature film productions, including with Director Nicolas Roeg (Don’t Look Now, The Man Who Fell To Earth), and have recently been paid to advance from Script Editor to write the second draft of a material budget feature film script.
- As a development consultant I have provided research, treatment writing and treatment appraisals for production companies’ film and television projects, pitches for which include to commissioners at the BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix. I have also provided story work on games and graphic novels.
- As a script reader I have also provided coverage and more detailed feedback reports and development notes for a variety of writers, directors, producers and production companies.
I have also recently been asked to provide workshops for university students at Southampton Solent University. These are one on one and group sessions on student projects for the documentary, film and screenwriting courses.

Additional information:
I am told I have “strong dramatic instincts” and feel very strong in story assessment, analysis and problem solving. I watch all sorts of Television and Film, and read novels, graphic novels and keep in touch with developments in narrative gaming.
I hope to have taken the best attributes of being a solicitor to my work, as I am organised, thorough and detail focused.
I enjoy the collaborative creative process and working with people. It is my ambition to find and help find great talent, and bring talent together for the creation of great stories.
I love my work and am currently looking for more practical industry and business experience.
