About me
I have been obsessed with clothing and fashion since before I can remember, and that love of clothing only grew when my great aunt taught me to sew as a child. An exceptional high school drama teacher showed me that I could combine my longtime love of clothing with a newfound passion for theatre. I completed a BFA in costume design and technology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and have worked at various regional theaters, ballet companies, and toured across the country with the circus.I work primarily as a stitcher, first hand, or draper. But I also have experience in wardrobe, craftwork and millinery.
Additional skills:
Flat patterning, draping, advanced machine and hand sewing, industrial and domestic sewing machines and sergers, variety of mask making techniques (Papier-Mâché, Neoprene, Thermoplastic), dyeing and distressing, great with a computer, constant supply of cute puppy pictures!
