About me
I am a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Creative writing and a minor in Cinema Studies.I have a strong passion for not only writing but for the film industry as a whole. I am self-motivated and willing to work hard to learn as much as I can. I love collaborating and working on a team because the energy that comes from collaboration and creatives working together is the most thrilling part of the entire process. Specifically, bringing a group of people together over the love of movies and TV is really important to me, and I want to create TV shows that represent that.
I have had extensive experience over the past four years critiquing scripts in workshops with my peers, and from this, I have gained the ability to read scripts at a high volume in a low amount of time. I also have a knack for natural dialogue and understanding what drives the plot forward. I have also worked on my own scripts while working on a short film that I wrote and directed.
I have also had marketing and editing experience from previous internships with a long-running literary publication, The Florida Review, and UniKey, a tech company that was featured on Shark Tank. During both of these internships, I had to push through a learning curve early on and succeeded in doing so. Specifically, at UniKey, I had to learn about Artificial Intelligence and write about it in a short amount of time. I went on from being completely clueless about anything related to technology to writing a commercial, an animated start-up video, and blog posts for them.
I'm not only creative and independent, but I learn quickly and easily adapt in any environment no matter how challenging or fast-paced.
