About me
Welcome to my site! I am a very outgoing, hard-working and dedicated professional. My styling and design career started 11+ years ago. I was fortunate enough to work at a large studio where there were so many creative avenues. My expertise includes, but not limited to: art direction, wardrobe, editorial, commercials, beauty, social media, branding, athletes & celebrity styling.Six years ago, I moved to the east coast to continue my journey as a stylist. Soon after, I was hired by the agency Creative Drive. I was promoted to Lead Stylist for the client Under Armour. Shortly after being promoted to Lead Stylist, I was given the opportunity to Art Direct for Under Armour & National Geographic for various projects. My role as the lead stylist & art director was to direct, mentor and train others. After 3.5 years of working for an agency I decided to start my own business Linda Russell Style. I've expanded my business to not only fashion & art direction, but also interior styling and design.
Some of my clients include National Geographic, Under Armour, McCann, NFL, Verizon, Smartypants, 33mile, CustomInk, Boscov's & QVC. One of the things I love doing is teaching and mentoring people + sharing my knowledge with others. Now, companies have reached out to me to teach these skills to other companies, designers, art directors & stylists.
The past few years I've worked with National Geographic, i.e. creating a book called Attainable Sustainable that was just published and most recently I traveled to Iceland for a major advertising campaign. Was Head of Wardrobe for big Campaigns such as Amtrak's "Get Carried Away" Campaign, provided wardrobe for a Documentary about teens with Eczema featuring the Director from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", Head of Wardrobe for SuperBowl LIII featuring First Responders, and many commercials for top Healthcare Companies such as HCA and LifeBridge Healthcare.
​Most recently I moved to Austin, TX where I'm looking to expand my business and discover new possibilities.
