About me
I am a freelance scriptwriter, script editor and story consultant formerly based at Elstree Studios, London, with twenty years creative writing experience.I specialise mainly in action, horror, comedy, sci-fi and fantasy and have written over 30 full feature scripts, one of which placed inside the top 15 in the BBC New Writers Competition.
I have associate-written for Hollywood actors Edward Furlong and Corey Feldman, popular British DJ, DJ Luck, as well as recently writing the screenplay for the film adaptation of the biography of Bob Marley which required a year of research.
I have edited many British Indie film scripts, a couple of which are currently in pre-production, as well as foreign film collaborations in Indonesia, Sri-Lanka, and Albania.
As a story consultant, I advise up-and-coming authors and writers on story structure, character development, action sequences and dialogue, and have helped them gain publishing deals. In addition to this, I also adapt novels to screenplays, my most recent is a sci-fi trilogy ‘ReC02gnition’ by new author Mark Dowson.
In addition to writing I have also worked as a producer, having completed a Raindance Film School producing course. I have recently completed my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and History, focusing on 18th and 19th century English Literature, and am starting a Masters in Medieval History later this year. This is to further my writing skills in historical drama and refining my research skills.
