About me
Experienced Camera Operator and Cinematographer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Working since 2008 in various short, feature, commercial films and television shows for Brazilian main film production companies, such as Zola Filmes, Conspiração Filmes, TV Zero, Vbrand, Grupo Sal, Goritza, and others for most of the main Brazilian TV channels, such as Globo, GNT, Multishow, Gloob, Globosat+, Canal Viva, MTV and Futura.Also worked as cinematographer and camera operator in the Brazilian-Swiss documentary “The New Fribourg” for the Swiss public TV channel RTS, co-produced by Giros (Brazil) and IDIP Films (Switzerland).

Additional information:
I studied Scriptwriting, Editing and Directing in a film school in Brazil called Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro (1,5 year each course). After that I start recording sound (1 year), then editing (1 year) and finally I discovered that the cinematography always were in my life.
I filmed documentaries around my country (Amazonia forest, scary cemeteries, poor communities, far little schools, etc) and the hard production situations made me to adapt myself and think about lightning challenges.
After a lot of readings about lightning my enthusiasm about fiction came and I realize that the better way to express myself with lightning are in fiction movies and I start to turn my mind to it. Today I have a lot of knowledge about it, and I know that I'll always be learning about lighting from the smallest details in life to the challenges of big studio set lightnings.
