About me
Hello, I'm Mollie. I first experienced the world of film when, aged 4 months, my mother was unable to find a babysitter, & so I was taken along to the cinema - & told I was mesmerised by what was happening on the big screen!I've acted, danced & sung in a variety of chapel stage productions in my home town of Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire, where I also played piano for many concerts. This was followed by further stage work at the West Yorkshire Light Opera, inc 'The Pyjama Game'.
After raising a family, I returned to acting in the 1990s with a role in Emmerdale, alongside Claire King & Norman Bowler. Then, as fate would have it, in 2004 I played lead role 'Gwen' in my first feature film, the UK/USA co-production 'The Bike Thief', which had a UK Premiere.
Recently, I worked with 'Calendar Girls' director Nigel Cole, as 'Lady on Plane' in Brit Rom-Com 'The Wedding Video', acted in 'Wasteland' film & modelled for BHF & Glasstap Ltd.
I also produced the film 'Saving Amy'.
