About me
I have had a passion for the moving camera since college where I studied media studies and first discovered what a Steadicam was. I was fascinated with the concept that the camera was essentially an extension of your body. I am still fascinated to this day, even more so now as an operator with the stunning, interesting and obscure shots that this amazing piece of equipment can create.I Graduated from Ravensbourne with a Degree in broadcast Operations and began my training in the camera department at ITV as a Camera Assistant working under Talented and experienced operators. I was always perusing my ambition to become a Steadicam operator and whilst at ITV I was luckily enough to be trained by some of the best Steadicam operators in film and television: Dom Jackson, Simon wood and Mike Scott. They instilled in me a great understanding and control over the rig and the ability to take on challenging shots with a eye for detail in the frame which I pride myself on.
I always strive for perfection and to realize the director and Director of Photgaraphy’s vision but also to bring my own creativity to every job i approach. Coming from a television background I am one of a small amount of operators that can work in the demands of Live TV and Commercial as well as Narrative. My work spans Commercial, Narrative, Music Video/Promo and Television.
