I am very well organized and make sure that all elements of the theater are present. As a stage manager, I make sure that I become familiar with the rules of each theater I work in, become acquainted with the space that I am working in, and learn to work with various jobs in theater. For me, this includes being able to operate and design lights, organize costumes, work with the administration, and participate in hair/makeup, scenic production, and props-making/organizing. I enjoy a close community and make sure that everyone, actors and tech come together so that we can work together. Although I love to become friends with the actors I make sure that there is a limit between us when it comes to work. I make sure that all work comply to the director however making sure that he/she is aware of the limitations that is set forth.
