About me

I have extensive experience in theatre management working as the Front of House and Bar Manager for the London Borough of Hillingdon. I oversee multiple venues including two theatres, The Compass and Winston Churchill theatres, as well as an amphitheatre and the historic Manor Farm site. I have 30 Casual Duty Managers/Officers and over 100 volunteers reporting directly to me. My duties include recruiting, inducting, training, briefing, and rostering of all staff and volunteers as well as taking bookings and supervision of all public events, ranging from theatrical performances to large outdoor festivals.
I have exceptional skills in management, public relations, and commercial enterprising in event planning and the arts and theatre industry. At Hillingdon Theatres, I implemented cost-saving measures in staff management, brought greater efficiency to working practices, and maximized business opportunities for the theatres. I negotiated key customer accounts and have developed new revenue streams by bringing in new clients and improving stock controls and budget management for the wine and coffee bars.
