About me
Pawel’s first exposure to film was through editing videos from family holidays. His parents would take him and his two beautiful sisters away from Silesia - a mining district of Poland, a place where he grow up.After unsuccessful attempts to get into an acting school, Pawel decided to approach the industry from another angle. Besides studying film and television production, he was developing his organisation skills at film festivals (Krakow Film Festival, OFF Camera) and a music festival called Unsound, where he gained most of his experience.
Working at the underground music festival required a lot of motivation and self-determination, which Pawel didn’t lack! As a coordinator of a group of volunteers he developed strong communication skills and built relationships that would be influential in his future life.
After finishing bachelor degree in Film and TV Production Management he moved to London where he practise filmmaking to explore his creative passion. He familiarised himself with the duties of every single person involved in the production process - whether it be cinematography and editing, to writing and directing - because, he believes, it’s crucial in understanding how every element of the industry works. Before graduating from London Film School, Pawel wrote, produced, directed and edited a film called ‘Skarbnik’.
Currently he is working in Soho's prestiges postproduction house in London. Where continues to purse a career in editing.
