Phil is the most fantastic DOP I have ever worked with. His creativity and flair for lighting and camera work is matched only by his calm reassuring nature and the best of human qualities as a man. He is in short, all you could hope to find in a DOP and all you could hope to find in a man. His work, his work ethic, the level of support he gives his director, and the command he has over his team and the respect his team have for him are all second to none. I cannot speak highly enough of Phil. He's one of the most outstanding filmic craftsman it's ever been my honour and pleasure to work with.
