About me
I have performed in many productions, often as leading lady, in roles as diverse as Irene in 'The Forsythe Saga' and Judith Bliss in 'Hay Fever'.In the 1980's I took part in a number of 3 act festivals and In 1984 I won the 'Vanda Lambert Award' for the most outstanding female performance of the week, playing the part of Diana in 'Absent Friends'at the Isle of Man festival. The following year, at the invitation of the Gaiety Theatre management, I played the part of Kate in a production of 'Bedroom Farce'.
More recently I have taken part in a Shakespeare workshop given by RSC director Ian Judge. Last year my performance of Patricia Graham in Terrence Rattigan's "Flare Path" was highly praised by the actress Lesley Sharp. Having recently 'retired' from full time work as a teacher my life can now begin. I have the time to follow my dream and develop my acting skill.
