About me
After spending six years in talent management at a top-level agency, Rob decided to pursue his creative interests and move into production. He is an ambitious producer and creator, and his combination of skills gives him a well-rounded approach to developing and producing projects.Rob has just completed Housemates, an ABC iview original series that he produced and directed. This was a concept he developed with his creative team and pitched directly to ABC. Currently he is producing and directing the second series for ABC2.
Recently he completed My Year 12 Life as a producer for ABC ME and Princess Pictures, a year long documentary project where fourteen year 12 students around Australia were given a camera to document their final year of high school.
Rob is submitting his new short documentary film Life and Death in Vientiane, which was filmed on the streets of Laos with a volunteer ambulance team.
And he also has a web series on busking in Melbourne called Busker Stories, with episode 1 passing removed views (and still climbing).
Previously he was a producer on Harley-Davidson TV, a branded lifestyle and travel series on 7Mate and 4ME (56x episodes). This series saw him producing stories in Vietnam, New Zealand, and across Australia, including a trip on the back of a motorbike from Broome to Brisbane, which he also shot.
Rob has produced, written and directed short films, including 'First Date' that screened at Byron Bay International Film Festival, Internationale Kurzfilmwoche Regensburg and Shorts at Midnight both in Germany, and Lorne Film Festival. Other short films include For Evie, Courage, and One Moment. He has also placed in several international competitions for commercial spots.
Rob has a strong interest in telling great stories, and his passion and energy has him continuing to develop new ideas and projects, both as a freelancer and also with his creative company Mashup Pictures.
