About me
I graduated with a 1st Class BA HONS in Entertainment Design Crafts, specialising in Costume last year. I have skills in tailoring, millinery, embellishment, corset and crinoline construction and breaking down and distressing techniques. I enjoy making for pantomime and have a keen interest in alternative clothing. I love to create for the weird and wonderful and never afraid of a challenge. Since graduating I have had the opportunity to showcase my work with the We Are Open Pop Up Gallery in my home town of Middlesbrough, this being part of a nationwide scheme to utilise empty business premises. This has brought in interest from the passing public and resulted in commission work from corsets to stage wear. As a result of the We Are Open, I have worked with local artistes and this has given me further opportunity to have my work shown in exhibition.Additional skills:
I worked in the leisure industry for the same employer for 15yrs. This allowed me to gain considerable customer relation skills.
