Additional information:
I have been in the industry for over 20 years. In that time I have seen and adapted to many changes as the sector has evolved. Over the course of my career I have developed the skills to manage projects of varying scales and complexity, from pre right through to post production, on both live and PSC productions. I have continually added to my personal cache of audio equipment, and can therefore offer competitive rates against hire on a wide range of hardware.
I have a thorough understanding of the exigencies of budget, time and ambition. Once given a brief, I will always therefore be able to offer a client alternative, timely and cost effective solutions. I have worked on intimate, deeply personal case studies, news items, corporate and high-octane entertainment formats. I have engineered and recorded 64 piece orchestras, yet also had the pleasure of once capturing absolute silence, (in the Arctic wastes of Iceland).
I also have the necessary skills to operate a Digi-Beta camera to broadcast standard; I am technically competent and able to camera assist and operate a second unit where necessary, as I consider this a secondary skill set, I have therefore filmed for a number of productions when the situation required. As a PADI qualified diver, I have been used in an underwater videographer capacity
