About me
I am a lighting designer and technician based in London and Hertfordshire. I am currently studying- though always looking to expand my knowledge and experience elsewhere.I am passionate about live entertainment and have experience in both lighting and sound roles over a number of years
I am adaptable and have been described as approachable with good listening skills, as having the ability to take charge of a situation with ease when necessary "working under her own steam"; and also as being very neat and creative.
Additional skills:
A number of health and safety certificates, including Fire Awareness, Slips, Trips and Falls certificates.
Trained and can competently demonstrate knowledge of various flying and rigging techniques and the ability to repair and maintain various luminaries, including a heating sensor and fan on a MAC 300.
Able to complete a number of different pieces of paperwork needed for productions, for example GANTT charts, cue sheets and call lists.
Confidently create and work from scale drawings, create a scale model of a venue and make white card models. Aware of the basics of prop making, texturing and scenic art; and can comfortably construct pieces of scenery.
Good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications, Gladstone's Plus2 software and a number of CAD programmes, including Sketchup and Vectorworks. Also competent using QLab and Pro Tools.
