About me
A recent Sound Design graduate from Ravensbourne with a strong mind and skill-set for Sound Design, Editing and Mixing for post production, alongside Sound Recordist and Operator roles during the production Process.With a confident understanding of multiple DAW's Including Reaper and Pro Tool's (both Stand-alone and HD systems) alongside Middle-ware WWise for Interactive audio implementation, I am proficient in the following -
-Stereo and 5.1 Mixing at both film and broadcast standard using LUFS Metering at EBU R128 standards.
-M+E Mixing.
-Dialogue editing & clean-up, utilising a wide variety of tools to suit all needs.
-Sound effect editing and design, with a wide array of plug-in effect and tool experience alongside knowledge of techniques in application and understanding of appropriate output formats for specific purpose.
-ADR recording for both diegetic and non-diegetic sound.
-Foley recording.
-Field recording, with competency in microphone choice and placement when capturing dialogue, effect or atmosphere to produce the best sync sound possible.
With this I also possess a working experience with a wide variety of hardware systems and equipment, Including the Euphonix System 5 and MC Control and Avid S3 and S6 for post production purposes, alongside experience operating Sound Devices, SQN, Sennheiser, Zoom, Zaxcom mixing, recording and wireless equipment within a field recording environment.
Accompanying a very technical capability is also a creative approach which I apply at all stages, be it in designing sound for otherworldly concepts or in practice when approaching capturing the best sound during production, in order to give post production the highest quality sound to work with.
Complimenting this, I pride myself with strong interpersonal skills, acknowledging the importance an outgoing and easily approachable personality plays when dealing with clients, co-workers and talent. This with a hardworking, can-do attitude allows me to produce and complete work at the upmost standard, be it working independently or as a team.
