About me
Tom Fox-Davies is a writer, director, and producer with a focus on narrative features and experience in features, shorts, documentaries, and educational content. After leaving school in 2003 Tom developed his interpersonal skills working behind the bars of The Trafalgar, Chelsea, London (UK) where he was noted for consistently achieving leading sales figures. Tom then moved into a more corporate environment in 2004 when he accepted the position of Executive Assistant for the Oil & Gas exploration and development company Cardinal Resources. During his time with Cardinal Resources Tom was responsible for the logistics in event planning, travel planning, and accommodation of the company’s senior executives both in England and the United States. 2005 saw a transition into a more traditional corporate finance sales position when Tom joined his brother at Fox-Davies Capital to help develop its global sales database before taking a marketing and sales position for the company’s hedge fund. In 2009 Tom partnered with his brother again to launch Polo in the Park London, a social and sporting event held in central London to an audience of 30,000 over a 3-day weekend. Tom took responsibility of corporate hospitality sales and management of the corporate enclosures. After successfully establishing Polo in the Park London as the opening event of the London summer sporting season Tom placed his focus solely on the film industry having previously enjoyed success as a child actor within the British theatre scene and in 2010 he wrote the script for Before the Border. This feature length narrative screenplay was picked up and green lit by US production company Grant Larson Productions who offered Tom the opportunity of his directorial debut. With his relocation from London to Los Angeles Tom started working with Rosco Production on high end fashion still campaigns in which Tom liaised with the creative directors, the photographic team, and the A-list talent to ensure smooth production. The accumulated skills and knowledge of production, financial management, and interpersonal skills allowed Tom to transition into a producing role and in 2012 Tom continued his partnership with Grant Larson Productions to develop a series of short form educational content to accompany materials distributed by a leading US publisher. After assisting in the development of the series Tom was then charged with directing and producing the first 73 episodes and was noted for having delivered the content ahead of schedule and under budget. 2015 saw the completion of Before the Border for which Tom orchestrated the film’s trailer and attended the American Film Market where he successfully placed the film with international sales representatives Heritage Films. 2015 also saw contracts landed for a short film promoting the HTC One M9 handset that Tom wrote, produced, and directed. Tom then signed on as the US producer for the feature documentary E-Life, an environmentally focused project set for completion in 2017, co-producer of award winning short film Age of Kaos, and producer of Circular Cellular in partnership with Dell’s Legacy of Good.
In addition to his work in film Tom is also an accomplished musician having performed internationally as a singer songwriter, composed the score to the feature film Before the Border, and written original songs for a number of film projects.
Tom splits his time between Los Angeles, London, and his music studio on the Pennsylvanian Great Lakes.

Additional information:
I started out as a child actor with the National Youth Music Theatre in England. I began playing the London circuit as a singer songwriter in my late teens. In my mid 20's I wrote my first feature, had it optioned and put through production and have now achieved a level in my career where I am directing, writing, producing, composing, and acting across as a range of projects for a variety of film makers. I have worked on high end fashion stills campaigns to feature documentaries to educational shorts to traditional narrative movies.
My involvement varies from project to project and I feel incredibly lucky that I have been able to cultivate the ability to give myself diversity in my day to day while remaining solely within the creative fields. I have achieved this through a constant desire to learn new techniques, acquire new skill sets, maintaining a positive attitude, and working hard.
