About me
Currently, I work at Rogers as a Sales Associate. My job consists of retaining knowledge of the latest technologies and what fits best with any given customer. I also work at Bonifaz Productions as the Founder and CEO. This consists of managing and directing all the business that comes in whether that is media consulting, video editing, cinematography, key grip, or videography and marketing. I have experience in video, photography and marketing via graphic design and feel very comfortable with all aspects of media production.A student of Mohawk college, a broadcasting technician with experience in live production. I trained in many scenarios, including studio, on location, and mobile areas. I’m also a Student of George Brown College in Video Production and Design and now have all the tools in my tool box to give me a better understanding of both live and film production. I enjoy attending events such as William F. White open house, Profusion, and other networking events specifically when centered on Queer and persons of colour and women in the Film/Tv Industry as I feel it helps build upon my experiences and overall work. I feel very strongly about making spaces in the media and film industry where people who are otherwise marginalized can feel safe and like their experiences are reflected in the media that I/we as an industry make.
I have interned at Ford Cassella Inc., a company focused on making queer content and took on the role of assisting the founders build from the ground up where I learnt not only skills that have taken my cinematography and editing to another level, but also skills that are more business orientated and organizational. I have worked on 6 separate Canadian Film Centre films where I was the Key Grip. I have also worked as a cinematographer and film editor for promotional and documentary style films and commercials with Bowker Resolutions, a production company based in my hometown of Oakville. I am now focused on taking my work to the next level and finding projects that push the boundaries of my abilities and interests.
