About me
Yiannis Alexiou was born and grew up on the island of Kos in Greece. Benefited by sporting accomplishments in award winning athletics at an early age, he went on to study Occupational Therapy in Athens. He was granted with a scholarship and an offer from a prestigious private hospital in London where he completed his qualifications.Whilst fulfilling academic goals and a Masters Degree in Health Management, Yiannis discovered his true vocation in the arts. He started taking private acting lessons, auditioning and working as a production assistant with Greek National Television and touring theatre groups. Following a short course in Acting for Films at the MET Film School in London, Yiannis successfully auditioned for the Acting Diploma at the Central School of Speech and Drama in December 2009. Having been awarded “Outstanding Short Course Student 2010? on completing his Diploma, Yiannis debuted on Stage in “Shoot/Get treasure/Repeat” by Mark Ravenhill in 2010 and since has showcase
