About me
I am a cinematographer/videographer. In 2009 I earned a BA in Film Studies at Wesleyan University. I learned the ropes of documentary filmmaking as a PA on Sundance Channel’s Brick City before working for a year at Edward R. Pressman Films and Vox3 Films within the script development departments, earning the trust of the heads of development. After a close family member became ill, I moved out to the country and decided to pursue my other passion, food, developing a natural food product, establishing my own business and successfully marketing the product to local stores, farmers’ markets, and online retailers. On the side, I wrote short fiction, produced commercial videos and worked as an event shooter. In 2014 I was pulled back into the film world full-time when I saw an opportunity to combine food and film, beginning production on a docuseries about the everyday lives of young farmers. Shortly thereafter, I worked as a video consultant with Blue Springs Pictures, helped spearhead development of a feature film, and continued to shoot and edit commercial videos. Currently, I am working as a freelancer, involved with a number of video production companies in the Boston/RI area, as well as working on several of my own ongoing projects.Skills
