Highlights
-
I have completed my RAD Ballet exams from pre primary level through to Grade 6 Advanced, my ISTD Tap exams from pre primary through to Grade 5 however I have trained upto Grade 7 Ballet and Grade 6 Tap, along with Intermediate Foundation Ballet including pointe work.
I have trained in Jazz since the age of 7 and learnt many new styles of dance while studying for my degree. I have 7 years training in Contemporary Dance, along with Breakdance, Hip-Hop/Street, Wacking, Wushu, Musical Theatre and Bhangra to name but a few. I was part of 2 Street group/companys before moving to London competing in competitions, gaining 1st as a member of the top team, along with showcases. I then taught for various schools, choreographing for productions and competitions.
I have been dancing since the age of 4. I began dancing at a local dance school that taught foxtrot, tango etc and gained many rosettes for the exams. I then took my exams at the Sally Prout School of Dancing where my more intense training took place.
To date, I have worked as a professional dancer and choreographer for a number of companies across the dance industry and am looking to further this.
I have completed a work placement at 'The British School' in Gloucestershire teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 Dance PE, alongside running the after school dance club. While on placement I also worked with S.E.N children which I found very rewarding. -
I was part of the Everyman Youth Theatre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire for over 5 years performing in various professional shows in the Everyman Theatre. I took my LAMDA exam and gained bronze while studying for my A levels. Have taken part in a number of shows and acting performances while in training. My most recent job was the role of Joy - one of the ugly step-sisters in the pantomime Cinderella.
