Couples and their Lies
Synopsis: Confined to a busy inner city bar on a weekday evening, where city boy banter and outlandish statements are abundant, this light hearted comedy follows three groups of people as they socialize and interact in this mendacious atmosphere. We follow an arguing couple on the brink of break up as a white lie turns out to be a really big lie, a group of city boys who try to befriend some 'average chaps' and Jon and Abbey, who inadvertently meet this evening over the backs of their chairs. As the film continues, we realize that in this whole bar, Jon and Abbey are the only two people being truthful to one another. Although this short lived relationship comes to an amusing end when they finally leave together and stand up from their chairs as Jon is considerably shorter than Abbey.
