U.S. Marines exchange banter between one another when one marine is forced to make his staff sergeant laugh
In the few weeks prior to the start of the Gulf War, a Company of U.S. Marines are digging sleep holes in a remote field as part of their training before being sent out to war. Broer is having trouble getting any kind of approval from his S.Sgt Fox. Amongst his Company, he is the only Marine to have not received any acknowledgment or "pat on the back" from his superior. When recommended that he demonstrate confidence, Broer tells Fox a "knock knock" joke.
