A potrait of B.A. 'Jimmy' James
Based on an interview with Squadron Leader B.A. ‘Jimmy’ James, the story focuses on Jimmy’s experiences as a POW at Sachsenhausen and the decisions he must make in order to determine his fate. When Jimmy arrives at the camp, he is immediately greeted by the other British POWs; Harry Day and Sydney Dowse. Reunited after the ‘Great Escape’ in a place stained by the atrocities of the Third Reich’s decree, the trio find themselves isolated and kept on ice as political prisoners while the screams of the dying and tortured cry out from just over the wall.
