About me
I undertook a BA in Fine Art before receiving my MFA (with Distinction) at Kingston University - specialising in painting as the main part of my practice. Outside my practice I enjoy all aspects of film - both watching and taking part as a Film/TV Extra. My work has taught me the crucial importance of punctuality, reliability, flexibility, professionalism; good humour, hard work and taking direction on set, stamina and teamwork. I am a self employed artist and creative so I am flexible. My great grandparents - Herbert Mason and Daisy Fisher acted on stage and worked in theatre and film - so it's in my blood!

Acting experience:
Despite having no formal training in acting, I've been fortunate to have the experience of working as a Film/TV Extra on various sets from feature films to television. Working as an extra has been good training for developing acting skills, creative reactions, professionalism and good humour on set. For more information about my experience as an extra check out the Extras experience section.
I once portrayed John Duddy in a reconstruction of the Shepherds Bush Murders of 1966 (as part of 'British Police Murdered on Duty'). Not only was this the first time I played an antagonistic role but my first time receiving a credit as an actor. I would be interested in broadening my experience in playing villains.
I received a credit as Tall Customer in "The Outfit". -
Interests
I sing for pleasure as part of a barbershop group and have experience of singing solo! It has been good training for having the confidence to sing in front of an audience. Additionally I love playing the flute.
My favourite musicians and composers are Sting, Johnny Ashby, Lana Del Rey and John Williams. -
Film/TV Extra experience
Experienced (and featured!) SA.
Despite having no formal training in acting, I've been fortunate to have the experience of working as a Film Extra. All my life I've been fascinated by film and have wanted the opportunity of working on set. I have been doing a variety of shoots from feature films to television and commercials (some which have not been released yet). The whole experience has taught me the crucial importance of flexibility, punctuality, reliability, taking direction and teamwork. I have enjoyed every moment of it even doing night shoots during unsocial hours. It has also made me increasingly aware of the time pressures existing in a commercial environment. I am registered with POP, Guys & Dolls Casting, The Casting Collective and Talent Talks.
My experience of working on set has left me astonished at how something blank like a green screen can be transformed into another dimension...just like an artist opening a door into a new world from a blank canvas. My creativity as an artist and experience on set has been good training for creative reaction.
My other skills include painting, drawing and playing the flute.
I would be interested in doing some work in period drama - anything from Ancient Rome to 16th Century, Victorian / Edwardian London or early 20th Century. I would also be interested in being a stand in.
I once portrayed John Duddy in a reconstruction of the Shepherds Bush Murders of 1966. This was the first time I played an antagonistic role and I would be interested in broadening my experience in playing villains.
Additionally, I have been featured in the ITV drama, 'Cheat' and was seen prominently in the title sequences for 'Vanity Fair.' I was also featured in 'The Royals' and did work closely with members of the main cast.
As well as films, I am interested in Art, period drama, Literature (including Charles Dickens, Tolkien and George R. R. Martin), History and Genealogy.
