Highlights
-
I started dancing at the age of four, with classes based on rhythm and movements. When I was six, I did ballet for two years, but wanted something more rhythmic. I then turn to jazz and popular dances from the age of 9 till 16. I was even asked to choreograph for some local events in Belgium.
In 2004, I changed style again and took hip hop classes.
I stopped dancing for 3 years when I was doing my BA in London. Once I graduated I went back to ballet for two years.
I followed classes in 2009 at the Basement Dance Studio, and in 2010 I took an 8 weeks ballet classes at The place in King's cross.
My last encounter with dance was for a fellow Lispa student's final project in June 2011. The student, Penny Levic, was inspired by Pablo Neruda's poetry and wrote a 15 minutes opera. The piece was called Pablo. I was part of Pablo sexual fantasy and was asked to dance, and sing his poetry. -
I spent the last two years working on many different types of theatre. I have explored masks, melodrama, tragedy, grotesque, as well as comedy and clown. I learned that they all asked me to be opened, creative, and disciplined.
I work well with others and I am used to deadlines.
As a plus, I have a dance and theatrical training from the Belgian Academy of Arts and followed singing classes taught by Belgian artist Monique Defoin from July 2002 to July 2005.
