About me
Matilda is looking to widen her acting experience from school and local theatre to TV, film and commercial. She is about to turn 13 and is extremely bright and articulate but looks much younger than her age as she is small. A keen reader of many genres of literature, she has a sharp wit and learns lines with ease. She appears to have a photographic memory. Equally important (I should imagine) she is easy to work with.Despite her youth, Matilda has decided she wants to study Drama at GCSE, A-level and degree level. Other points to note:
- LAMDA Grade 4 - high distinction. Now working towards Grade 5
- Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits - Matilda was the lead female part, which involved extensive lines and a solo which she performed in front of around 300 people (year 6)
- Jungle Book, Play in a Day - Matilda was chosen to be Mougli (year 5)
- Roald Dah's Revolting Rhymes Showcase - Matilda was The Big Bad Wolf
- Gifted and Talented Week - Matilda was one of a handful of children selected from Ardingly College to participate in a course run by an external group... they learned about mime, improvisation, writing etc (year 5 or 6)
- Hansel and Gretel - Matilda was the wicked stepmother (year 3)
Additional skills:
Singing, mime, basic dance - Stagecoach skills
