Highlights
-
Almost my entire life has revolved around acting and performance. From age twelve I attended PACE Youth Theatre and my involvement quickly changed from one class a week to spending most of my week involved with the company, from assisting in the teaching of classes to attending the highest standard of workshops that PACE offered their students. My spare time was dedicated to touring Scotland with PACE performing all over the country in projects such as 'Big World', 'Take a Drink' and the Strathclyde Police-led initiative 'Choices for Life' in which I performed in The AECC and the SECC to audiences of up to 9000 schoolchildren. When I turned eighteen and I was no longer young enough to be a member of PACE, I had finished school and went on to study Acting and Performance at Reid Kerr College for 3 years. During that time I performed and starred in a wide range of plays, all the while demonstrating a wide variety of characters. I played Juan in Lorca's 'Yerma' in my first year and in my second year I led a production of 'Up Pompeii' where I played Lurcio to extremely favorable reviews. In my third year I was cast as Claudio in a production of 'Much Ado about Nothing' and as Max in a performance of 'Trojan Barbie' which ran for 3 nights at the Arches in Glasgow and received favorable reviews. In between these shows I found my self with extra free time so I offered to help my previous director with a performance of 'The Last Days of Judas Iscariot' and I was allowed to play a supporting role and help coach the rest of the cast in their own performances. In 2014 I graduated from college with a NC, HNC and HND in Acting and Performance over three years and I am now currently pursuing an acting career. In 2016 I graduated with a BA Hons in Acting and Performance from North Lanarkshire College/Northumbria University. I am extremely passionate about my choice of drama as a career and regardless of the role or part I always give 100 % commitment.
