About me
Since I was 13 I have always been incredibly passionate about acting. The opportunity to take a performance subject during my later years of school wasn't given to me, so I threw myself into a Drama degree as soon as I finished school and have enjoyed some of the best years of my life truly finding my feet onstage and learning that it's the only place I want to be. Over the course of my degree I have thoroughly enjoyed playing some brilliant roles in various productions; including Eisenring in Max Frisch's The Arsonists, and the lead role of Jane in Amelia Bulmore's Mammals at The Dukes Theatre in Lancaster. I am currently a third year Drama BA Hons student, set to graduate in July 2016, with experience in unpaid speaking roles as a cast member in productions at my university and I have achieved consistently high grades in assessed pieces. I also attended Sage Academy of Performing Arts in Newcastle for 4 years and performed multiple times in musical productions and medleys at The People's Theatre. I have attended an entry-level Stage Combat workshop and in 2014 I played a background role in the film 'Zombie Apocalypse'. Genre Ambitions: Horror, Comedy/satire, anime, fantasy. As a big fan of music I would also love to appear in music videos. I enjoy singing (alto range) and dancing and I have a big interest in fashion and make-up, particularly goth/punk aesthetics and vintage fashion. Although my credits in acting experience are few I am a very passionate performer and I have received excellent feedback and reception in my roles as an actor. My passion for theatre has never been higher and I hope to secure myself a career in the field I feel I was born to be in.Additional information:
At the time of writing this I am in my final months of my last year at university, and at this point I have only done unpaid acting work. However, I feel this only cements me as someone who is incredibly passionate about acting, and is happy to just be call it 'work' in any sense, regardless of pay. I hope to start venturing into paid acting work to build a portfolio for myself as an actress.
