About me
I love storytelling. I love reading about far flung places and impossible adventures, not knowing where the next page is going to take me. After graduating from the Guildford School of Acting University of Surrey, specialising in Design with a minor in Stage Management; I discovered that I want to be able to experience design beyond the theatre as well, to understand how stories are translated for these genres and experience the process from concept to post production. Not only this but after a 2 week placement on Birds of a Feather, I developed a zeal for the role of Production Runner. Working with the cast and creatives; seeing how the production comes together and how the runner’s job aids this, I found immensely satisfying and it is a role I would endeavour to gain more experience of in my career.Referees:

Additional information:
During my time at GSA I have designed for Arthur Miller’s American Clock and Marsha Norman’s Secret Garden, both of which pushed my creative ability and required me to be inventive in my problem solving. My design work has been complimented by my scenic art experience both at GSA and outside of my course and has informed me of what it is possible to achieve. At GSA I was a scenic artist for Thoroughly Modern Millie and Catch Me If You Can, while outside of my course I have worked on the creation of Omeara, a new music venue in London, as a scenic painter with the Richard Nutbourne Scenic Studio.
I also had the opportunity of a 2 week placement on Birds of a Feather, where I shadowed the Production Runner I aided in setting up the rehearsal space, making sure the actors had everything they needed and working alongside the runner in all manner of tasks. Furthermore I have had the opportunity to shadow members of the CBBC Newsround team (Produced by Hannah Edwards). In which I helped research information about Kate Richardson-Walsh who was going to be a guest on the show look into facts and figures on hedgehogs for an upcoming segment
Theatre professional:
I graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2017 with a degree in Professional Production Skills. I am now a freelance Set and Costume Designer/Maker.
During my university years I designed the sets for American Clock, the musical adaptation of Secret Garden, Black Swan Theory and the installation piece Blackout. I worked on the musicals Catch Me If You Can and Thoroughly Modern Millie as a Scenic Associate. I have also helped assist the Richard Nutbourne Scenic Studio create the new music venue OMEARA in London.
I have been working on several projects this year including designing and making the set and costumes for 'Couch Cast', which included a Marie Antoinette inspired gown.
