About me
I'm a film professional usually contributing to projects as a Director, Editor and Producer. Occasionally I support others by engaging some of my skills and equipment. In other words I work on projects from A to Z but I'm also a freelance on the call - eager to meet new people and very happy to record audio, assemble the cut or colour grade the final output.
I have practiced operating in different roles as a professional self-development model for years. Similar model, I know as "learning through projects" is used by most of the film, drama and art schools around the world.
I cherish the times when I was a student recording, editing or acting in my friends' shorts. It was the time of growth and gaining the confidence. I use this method today to embrace changes in the industry coming consequently as film technology becomes more accessible, miniaturized and easy to use.
I also hope to meet this way likeminded creatives I can invite to participate in my projects in return.
Additional information:
Although I've used Premiere on everyday basis since 2013 it is now DaVinci Resolve I want to specialise in. I can still edit on Premiere, if that would be my client's choice. I equipped my home studio with calibration tools and reference display to be able to match colour grading output with broadcasting standards.
I started to use Studio One 5 for sound design aiming to implement some of music production techniques in film post-production process. I equipped the station with high-end KRK reference speakers, Presonus mixer and set of new AI plugins. Again - all to be able to master the audio at best of the industry standards.
I record audio using Rode radio microphones, Sennheiser shotgun on boom and portable TASCAM recorder. My setup records on separate tracks with additional safety channel in case of any accidental clipping. I feed the signal simultaneously to backup devices as well, so invited to the film set I bring confidence that audio is fully secured.
I have NIKON D5600 on board with a nice set of lenses. I love photography and I'm fluent in Lightroom using it with the DSLR regularly in preparation of projects or during the execution phase. There were times I worked often as Behind The Scenes Creative delivering stills, preparing electronic press kits or finalising "making of" as videographer and editor.
