  About me

  I’ve always been affectionate about performing arts and from a very early age, I decided to hone my skills. I started learning classical dance at the tender age of 5.

  I’ve always felt passionate about both dancing and acting and find both these art forms, rather emancipating. I completed my graduation in Odissi Dancing and my Masters in Acting and Videography from the renowned Rabindra Bharati University, West Bengal.

  Since the half a decade, I’ve worked as a dance teacher, as an actor in a Bengali theatre group, as an assistant director in a Bengali feature film among others. With each project or responsibility that I’ve handled, I’ve learnt so much from this field. I thrive to learn each day and progress steadily; henceforth I seek more for more opportunities to give my best and learn more.

  Additional Information

  Worked as a Teacher in “Odissi Research Centre” in Asansol for five years.

  Worked as an Actor and Costume Designer in "Gotroheen" a Bengali theatre group in Kolkata for four years

  Worked as an Assistant Director 1st (Costume, Makeup, EP) in a Bengali feature filmm called "Karon Kolkata Ebong Onyo Golpo" of Jay-Jayanti Productions

  Worked as an Actor and Assistant Director in a FTII diploma film.

  Working as an associate Director and DOP in a feature length poetic documentary called "KathaChitra"
