A boy escapes from his unstable family.
A young man feels trapped in his life. He lives in a bad neighbourhood, his brother bullies him and his dad is an alcoholic. Suddenly the brother's car is being stolen and after recognising the thief from early on in the day, the young man decides not to save his brothers car but to drive off with the thief to dungeness beach.
