Sarah and her husband feel separate after the loss of their first child; he wants to move on, yet Sarah is still haunted by the past...
Sarah is fearful of pregnancy because she can’t move on from the death of her first child, while her partner, David, wants a child to forget about the past. Sarah takes contraceptive pills secretly but strangely still gets pregnant. Sarah goes through a bleak journey of the fear of her pregnancy while David forces a sense of urgency upon Sarah to give birth. David eventually realises that Sarah is more important to him than the new child and helps Sarah to perform a self-abortion.
