An American orphan looking for security
An American youth, Danial, orphaned, alone in the UK; subconsciously seeks a surrogate family to fill the void, solace, genuine love, genuine spirituality. He becomes embroiled in an evangelical mega ministry in south London run by Bryan Williams & his daughter Anna; a charismatic figure who is not aware himself that the set up reeks more of ego & control than true charisma & altruism. In the idiom of orphans at the mercy of opportunistic latter day Fagin fathers & a madam mothers. Danial finds his solace, but not in this place or their version of god. **LONDON SHORT FILM FESTIVAL OFFICIAL SELECTION** **BRITISH SHORTS BERLIN OFFICIAL SELECTION** **CASTELLINARIA FILM FESTIVAL OFFICIAL SELECTION**
