Auditioning for multiple roles in same job
I feel like there must be an obvious answer here. How do I upload different auditions for separate roles within the same posting? Currently it has the same audition for both roles - so should I be putting both scripts on same file?
Editorial Comment Hi Anna,
It is currently only possible to apply to one role for each project. If you are interested in being considered for other roles I would advise you to apply for the Role you are most interested in, then state in your Cover Letter that you would also like to be considered for other roles.
Best regards

Hi Anna. When I've come across this, I have recorded both auditions and put them on one file to submit to the client. On the submitted file, I put a preamble (usually just the character name) before each audition piece stating which character it is and also note it in the cover letter that the file has multiple character reads.
Cheers
David
David, that' s a good way to handle it. it can be a pain for some auditions, where there are 4 or 5 characters. I don't know why you get locked out of the other options in Mandy. Maybe someone from Mandy could tell us? ....... maybe?
Great answer thanks David. I will know for next time!
Sam (mandy team) sometimes there is different audition material and so it seems the only option would be to include all in the same reading.
This has just happened to me. You USED to be able to submit different auditions for each role within one Job Posting. This is another example of Mandy no longer being worth the money.

I had this problem too.
The response from customer service was copy, paste and hinted at it being my fault.
As Madeline said above, this seems to be a new thing. Shame it didn't state that in the audition process.
Yes it’s strange because if the script is different you should be able to upload separately. Doesn’t make sense and give you the best shot otherwise
So I got this reply from Mandy (it’s like they’re saying only being able to apply for one role per posting is a good thing) when it will take CDs longer to listen through to multiple roles on one audio track. Companies will find it laborious and will stop using it. Also they didn’t tell us (as far as I know) that this feature was being removed?
Hello Madeleine,
Thank you for your email.
Our system is set up to ensure parity for all applicants, which is why employers will only receive one application per project from each interested party. Roles are listed separately under the production information, please state this in your application if you'd like to apply for multiple roles.
I wouldn’t have renewed my subscription if I had known this was happening.
Man!!!!
Just had my subscription refunded so this is goodbye! Such as shame as Mandy used to be excellent
Wishing you ALL tonnes of luck and success with your lovely voices. Xxxxx

Had this response regarding this from Mandy (after a 5-6 day wait between each message):
"Our system is set up to ensure parity for all applicants, which is why employers will only receive one application per project from each interested party. Roles are listed separately under the production information. In the future, please state this in your application if you'd like to apply for multiple roles."
I pointed out that this was a new way of working and there hadn't been any communication regarding this. I was thanked for my feedback...
Just a heads up! :)

I have recently had the exact same response that Matthew received, word-for-word (i.e. copy & paste).
When I pointed out that if EVERYBODY could send multiple files per application that would be "parity for all", I received another message effectively telling me "tough, that's the way it is".
And still no option to actually speak to somebody about it.
