    The Manager, (Seacrest) Production Studio is responsible for the daily operations and technical elements of the studio by providing detailed oversight and management of the creative, technical, and fiscal business functions related to the space and programming therein. This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all broadcast content in order to provide consistent, relevant and appropriate programs for the patients, families and staff. The Studio Manager will supervise staff and student interns who are part of studio operations and will ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations and initiatives.Essential Functions· Directs and manages studio operations and daily programming to achieve studio objectives and goals.· Leads the development of ongoing studio services and expansion of such that align with both the Seacrest Foundation goals as well as with corporate and hospital initiatives.· Provides oversight and leadership for all technical and creative aspects of the broadcast and related equipment within the studio while coordinating efforts with internal partners such as Information Services and Bio-Medical Engineering as necessary and indicated.· Film, produce and edit high quality video and photo content, including but not limited to, talent visits, donor stewardship projects, pre-recorded studio programming or other specialty projects in conjunction with both the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and OH/APH requests.· Determine a strategic structure for studio broadcasting and ensure pediatric-appropriate content is both entertaining and educational; collaborates with studio staff, child life, music therapy, healing arts and patient academics teams for such.· Effectively engage with children of all ages and their families who present with varying abilities and interests in order to promote positive patient and family experiences.· Collaborates with the department events coordinator for purposes of vetting and integrating a variety of community partners into studio activity; proactively seeks opportunity to engage fellow inter-department leadership for same.· Establishes methodology to evaluate programming content to continually grow and evolve studio activity to meet patient experience needs and demands.· Provides fiscal oversight and resource management for studio supplies, including annual budget management for personnel and operations.· Serves as the primary ambassador and in-person host for greeting donors, celebrities and community guests who take part in studio activity or who visit during a hospital tour; works closely with foundation and public relations for related activity.· Actively involved in the hiring, supervision and evaluation of studio staff; works closely with student academic programs to recruit and on-board interns as a regular part of the regular operations.· Develops performance metrics and goals for studio staff and interns and assists those teams with achieving success through ongoing feedback and providing opportunities for learning and growth.· Ensures an appropriate environment of care within the studio, staying compliant with The Joint Commission or other regulatory bodies.· Adheres to licensing and other requirements as outlined in the contract between APH and Seacrest Studios; helps to ensure the brand standards, design templates and systems architecture.· Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.· Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.Other Related Functions· Networks regularly with Seacrest Studio partners across the nation and participates in any educational summits that are organized by the Seacrest Foundation.· Serves as a creative and technical consultant to hospital departments regarding audiovisual equipment, patient technology needs or other broadcast related initiatives.· Serves on related hospital committees or project teams as needed or indicated.· Demonstrates strong decision-making skills and seeks process improvement opportunities related to studio operations. · Develops and/or updates policy and procedures related to studio activity.
