About me
I'm a 23 year old, London based singer who graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelor of Music in 2012. I sing everything from pop to musical theatre to jazz and am classically trained, so the occasional aria too! I also love to write music, and am a particularly keen songwriter and am really keen to progress and develop this skill.Additional skills:
Pianist (Grade 8 2006)
Flautist Grade 8 Standard)
Songwriter
Guitar
Actor:
Having recently graduated from the University of Manchester after studying music and gaining a 2:1 I have decided to return to my passion acting.
Up until the age of 14, when I decided to concentrate on my studies after receiving a music scholarship to study at Badminton School in Bristol, I appeared in a number of professional productions including Summerfolk at the National Theatre, The Silver Sword at the Polka Theatre,Wimbledon, Within Living Memory and Hope and Glory (both for the BBC) and The New Worst Witch(Nickelodeon). I was also a member of the original National Youth Music theatre appearing in a number of productions including a performance at Buckingham Palace.
At sixteen I was lucky enough to be offered one of twelve places on the Hampshire Specialist Music Course as the only singer. I also got involved in as many productions as possible whilst at college. I played Hermia in A midsummer Night's Dream in 2008. I also joined the musical theatre company RICNIC, a company that puts on one show a year in the summer holidays, in a production that is run entirely by people under 19. In 2008 I took part in "Calamity Jane" and in 2009 I played Eliza Doolittle in" My Fair Lady". Later that year I was nominated for and won the "Best Actress in a Youth Production in Hampshire" at the Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards for my portrayal of Eliza. Also whilst at Peter Symonds I toured the northern states of the USA in a Winchester College production of Our Country's Good as Duckling (2009) and appeared with the Winchester Players in Love's Labour's Lost (2010) as Catherine in both Winchester and the Minack theatre in Cornwall.
