LEARN TO OPERATE A CANAL BOAT

New company seeks great story tellers to tell one of the world's great stories: about England's canals, from the birth of the industrial revolution, to their exploding popularity as alternative lifestyle.

If you've ever wondered about canal boat living (because of the romance or the money you might save) -- or anticipate a casting call for Peaky Blinders -- this opportunity is for you. From now through Spring, as long as weather permits, Bards on Boats offers candidates for employment the opportunity to come aboard and learn everything they never even imagined they wanted to know about living on and managing a canal boat.

Learn to drive the boat in outer London where the canals are wide and the boats are few. Practice your skills driving through Little Venice, Paddington Basin, the Islington Tunnel and Camden Market, (where our future tours will be.) Learn to operate the locks, and learn to teach others to do the same.

Our flagship vessel, the Molly Anna, operates on a continuous cruising permit, but is generally to be found in W. London between Ladbroke Grove and Harlesden.

Call or text (07500 75 36 73) or email (eric@bardsonboats.com) to arrange an outing. There should be at least two of you, and we can take groups as large as 10. So spread the word, check the weather forecast, and join me on the canal.

Cheers!
