In this seminar the two times Oscar Winning director/screenwriter Paul Haggis directs a group of professional pre- selected actors. Each Actor is paired with one acting partner and is assigned a scene to study that will be performed in class.
From this performance Mr.Haggis gives notes and suggestions to improve the student’s acting and skills to be directed.
ABOUT THE SCENE WORK
Scene Work is a workout for actors to make sure they are ready when the opportunity arrives. You’ve already trained – now you need to harness those skills to your performance – to every performance!
Scene Work is simply the best opportunity to flex the actors acting muscles and refine their craft on a consistent basis. It is a workout where actors test their performance abilities in a safe and playful environment. Through working on scenes of various genres, the actors discover their strengths and weaknesses with the help and under the direction of Paul Haggis.
