MONOLOGUE COMPETITION by The School, London
Open to all actors, regardless of experience.
We invite you to send us a self-tape of you performing a speech of your choice (maximum 3 minutes long). Our 3 favourite performances will each win a 60 MINUTE 1-2-1 VIDEO TUTORIAL with our Director, Trudi Rees, plus the chance to have their work shared on our social media platforms.

THE SCHOOL is a 2-year professional actor training, based in North London and established by long-serving staff members of the Poor School.
Our 100% practical, conservatoire-level training is structured around evenings and weekends, thereby allowing students to work and earn whilst they train. The course is delivered by an exceptional staff team with a proven record of successfully preparing actors for the industry and culminates in a public season of plays, including two industry showcases. Those completing the course are eligible for Spotlight membership, together with student/graduate membership of Equity.
There is no upper age limit and we welcome talented students from all backgrounds/ walks of life.
We are currently offering VIDEO AUDITIONS to those wishing to join the 2 year training.
As the timeframe for the current social distancing measures is as yet unknown, we would also like to reassure all our 2020 applicants that, whilst we have every hope of commencing the training in October as planned, we do have a contingency in place to push back the start of the course, to January 2021 if necessary, to ensure that we are able to offer the training face-to-face, in full and without interruption or compromise.
