    Set in America in 1952, the show is a homage to the golden age of the great American book-musical, with all the grit and relevance of contemporary politics and entertainment. Burlesque is written by Adam Meggido, the award-winning creator of Showstopper ! The Improvised Musical, and Roy Smiles who is an award-winning comedian, author and playwright whose West End credits include Ying Tong, The Rat Pack and Bombing People.
