About me
I quit theater the last time about eight years ago and started making and repairing violins. This challenges my hands and requires a lot of concentration, but I wish it was a more creative endeavor. I have also just spent a little time working for a shoe maker. So, now, maybe it's back to theater
Additional skills:
I can operate industrial and home sewing machines. I have upholstery experience. I have some painting experience - both in theater and interior house painting. I can sharpen knives, planes, chisels, and gouges. I can operate a large variety of saws - radial arm, table, band, miter - and I have some experience working with metal and welding. I can read blueprints and I can build props off a good piece of research.
Additional information:
I like to make Pies and Cocktails.
Crew:
I am a Theater professional who is looking to move into the film and television industry. I have actually spent the past 8 years learning to make and repair violins, but I am tired of sitting still all day at work.
I am a quick learner and I listen and follow directions well. I have theatrical construction experience, as well as some paint. Most of my work has been in Prop shops. I can sew and to basic upholstery.
I was a vegetarian for twenty years, but I've reformed.
