Career Progress:
I am currently working on a freelance basis as an assistant scenic artist; set painting and props making, and assisting the set designers on recent productions at Perth Rep Theatre. In this up-coming season I have commenced work under the direction of the designer working on the forthcoming pantomime production for 2011, assisting as directed with model making, set painting and props making. Previously I worked on 'Death of a Salesman' and the pantomime production of Aladdin. I have gained additional experience working on the Amateur Operatic Society's production of 'Guys and Dolls', the Youth Theatre and Community Theatre productions.
Previously, I gained a variety of experience leading the public art project for the local authority, coordinating with the schools and building contractor drafting briefs and information regarding the progression of the project.
I have been involved in setting up numerous exhibitions of varying sizes, organising and installing the works and curating a substantial student show of over seventy student, and more than 200 works.
Public Art Liaison, 2009 to 2011 - leading the public art project being implemented within the new community campuses.
Project Manager, Dundee Degree Show, Fine Art 2008 Catalogue, 2008 - Responsible for implementing and leading a student initiative, raising all funds required, setting up exhibitions and coordinating the project.

Tutor Assistant/Shadowing, February 2007 to March 2007 - I gained tutoring experience while in my 3rd year of my degree during the professional practice module working with 1st year degree art students.
Additional skills:
While in university, in addition to traditional mediums of drawing & painting, I learned to use Mac based software including Photoshop & In Design and film editing software, Final Cut Pro.
Additionally I gained a basic knowledge of woodwork and using tools and machinery building supports for canvases and frames for works.
Recently, I have developed model making skills building sets, props and figures at a 25:1 scale and assisting the designer of the production with the scale model and props pieces.
