About me
• Live artist and performer based in South London. Interested in creating innovative performance that disrupts and challenges the conventions of art and visual culture in bold and playful ways.• As a working-class, female artist from the north of England, I am particularly interested in intersectional work that deals with feminist theory, gender politics and the socio-economic limitations faced by artists today. I am eager to continue making and performing new work, as well as facilitating it in various capacities: such as producing, administration and workshop facilitation.
• I am a highly organised, hard-working and approachable individual, driven by my passion for innovation, art and people. My long-term aspiration is to complete PhD research in order to teach undergraduate students. I am driven by the belief that young people have the potential to engage with and benefit from experimental arts in a capacity that isn’t currently widely available to them.
