About me
I thrive best in creative environments, I took GCSE's and A level's in Design Technology and Dram/ performing arts and too this day spend most of my spare time enjoying my carpentry in the back garden, painting, or producing theatre work. I also try and bring my passion for creativity into my other workplaces, for example I currently work a bar but use the function room to hold monthly music events that I organise, I also use it to rehearse new shows. I have a particular interest in getting to work backstage in a theatre in or around London, I have a great, raw skill set that I think can be used for many different roles in theatre. I am hard working (obviously) and above all passionate about theatre and all it's departments. I also have a degree in performing arts and Musical theatre from Winchester University and ArtsEd respectively, have worked as an actor but also regularly teach all forms of performing n a regular bases at both schools and drama clubs and love working with children.I am currently producing a musical from an American writer which is currently in a workshop phase and hoping to be in a theatre by mid-2017. I have a great passion for directing and producing as well as the casting side of theatre and would love to break into that side of theatre. I have directed pieces in the past for profit share ventures or small regional work.
My Final bit of experience to add was during my time in drama school I worked as both a follow spot operator and Assistant stage manager for various final and second year shows at the College in the Andrew Lloyd Webber foundation Theatre, roles which I excelled at and would love to get an opportunity to expend my experience and knoweledge of these skills
all my passions lie with theatre (and TV) and I wouldn't want to consider a career in any other industry
