About me
When I left school I decided to take an engineering route. I went to college and finished an aerospace engineering course.Since leaving college I changed my direction towards theater and live entertainment. I first started this by becoming a volunteer as event staff for the local councils music festival. From there I moved on to a local theater who took me on as a volunteer and taught me the tricks of the trade. I was then asked if I wanted to help with the full run of pantomime. This included the rig up before hand, 1 tech rehearsal and 2 dress rehearsals. After that I operated a spot for 75 shows open to the public. Also during intervals and after shows I helped with scene changes and resets. I had previously spot operated for a few other shows at the same theater and have a cumulative of over 250 hours spot operating. Since finishing the get out for panto I decided that this is the correct direction for me. I have been described as hard working by the technical manage and I go out my way to get the job that needs to be done be done. For example although being a volunteer stay back quite late just to get the house ready in time for shows.
